God damn this is good as hell. I really liked Giselle's inner monologue, everyone's history and inner lives are fleshed out very convincingly, all of which is constantly reacting to create some great tension. Loved the visual style too. The rancid vibes of big family weddings/functions really did come through. This woman has to put up with so much shit and deals with it like a champ, dear god.
Short punchy sentences, fleshed out characters and a beautifully melancholic story. Simple and cohesive art, music and overall direction. I felt so strongly for this poor doll trapped in the middle of it all, too good at playing her role, and it was easy to follow the bitter drama that followed. Amazing work
